Cash price to cricket team: application filed to restrain Shahbaz

An application against Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has been filed praying to restrain him from giving cash prize to members Pakistan Cricket Team and arranging a party in their honour. The petitioner Muhammad Iftikhar Hussain Rajput, submitted that if the CM is to give the prizes to the cricketers, he should give these prizes from his own pocket.
He, therefore, prayed to the court to issue direction to the CM not to host party to distribute cash prizes to the cricketers and if he is adamant to give these prizes he should give from his own pocket.
