A three-week international course on Express Post in Competition with Private Courier Services, which started from March 14, 2011, concluded here in Postal Staff College on Saturday. Fifteen Postal Officers from foreign countries including Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Syria, Iraq, Maldives, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Indonesia, Fiji, Afghanistan, Kenya, Philippine, Mauritius and Burundi participated in the course.
At the end of course a graceful ceremony was arranged, Raja Muhammad Ikram-ul-Haq, Federal Secretary for Postal Services was the chief guest. Abdul Hameed Chairman Pakistan Post explained the objectives of the course. On behalf of all the course participants Rajendra Jebodh, participant from Mauritius thanked Government of Pakistan and Pakistan Post on making excellent arrangements and hospitality extended to them during their stay at Islamabad. At the end, the chief guest awarded the certificates and shields to the course participants.-PR
