In Shanghai, the most-active copper futures contract eased 260 yuan to close at 70,440 yuan a tonne on Friday, for a weekly loss of 2.6 percent. High levels of stocks in China have kept Chinese copper prices in check, making unprofitable imports of spot copper from the international market to sell at home, which may delay restocking there.
