Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan here on Sunday attending a ceremony of Unique School System stated that unless education was provided to impoverished children of under developed areas, the nation would not stand on its feet. Besides large number of students and their parents, MNA Pervez Malik attended the function.
He said that by launching Danish Schools younger generation would play its part in the building and development of the nation. Speaking about education policy of the present government in the Province, he said if it remained unimpeded and intact for another 50 years, educational targets would be achieved.
He said it was mind boggling for a person that a nation who had achieved nuclear proficiency and was amongst the seven-member club of nuclear powers was number 144 in educational standards in the world. Deputy Speaker distributed prizes amongst the successful students on the occasion.
