The celebrations of Pakistan Day started with a 21-gun salute here on early Wednesday. According to the details, the day dawned with 21-gun salute at Jinnah Park opposite to Qila Balahisar at early in the morning to mark Pakistan Day. The audience present on the occasion raised the slogans of Pakistan Zindabad. Special prayers were also offered for progress and prosperity of Pakistan. Pakistan Day was being celebrated with heartily patriotism in KPK and Fata.
The Pakistan Army, political administration and civic bodies have made unprecedented arrangements to celebrate the day in the most befitting manners. Civil society, social organisations and students unions arranged rallies and peace walks in the province and tribal agencies headquarters to inform youth about heroic struggle of our forefathers during Pakistan Movement. Declamation contests are being held at government and private schools in connection of the day. A Galaxy of poets are being gathered at Nishtar Hall to pay tribute to leaders of Pakistan Movement.
