Pakistan Navy will observe the Pakistan Day with traditional zeal and fervour. A Navy statement here on Tuesday said that the day would dawn with a 21-gun salute. Special prayers will be offered in all mosques at PN Units after Namaz-e-Fajr. To pay homage to the Father of the Nation, a wreath-laying ceremony will be held at Mazar-e-Quaid mazar.
Senior representatives from three services will lay wreath and offer Fateha. Pakistan Navy ships and units will be decorated and illuminated to mark the day as a great national event. On this occasion, PN has also organised an impressive ceremony of granting last wish of seriously ill children, at Manora. To make the last moment of their life memorable, the young wishers will be dressed up in Naval uniform and have the opportunity to visit PN ships and hovercrafts. Commander Coast Vice Admiral Tayyab Ali Dogar would be the chief guest on the occasion.
