New Zealand legend showers praise on Shadab Khan

Pakistan young leg spinner Shadab Khan has grabbed the cricketing world's attention in a short span of time, establishing himself as a potent bowler in the limited overs format.
The New Zealand former captain and arguably one of the best spinners of modern day cricket, Daniel Vettori, praised the youngster from Pakistan, who will be making his debut at the Big Bash League this December, for the Brisbane Heat, after he replaced West Indian leggie Samuel Badree.
“I think Shadab is one of the bright young stars of world cricket known to people for his leg spin. What we have found from the last two years is that with the skills set of someone like Samuel Badree can really work at Gabba, and Shadab brings that same sort of skill set,” said Vettori, the head coach of Brisbane Heat.
“He is quick, he is tough to pick but he is also a very good batsman and very good fielder, and we have got him at a young age … like I said that we have one of the young stars of world cricket, and that is exciting for everyone involved,” Vettori added.
Meanwhile, the seventh season of the Big Bash League will be starting from December 19.
