KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Wednesday at 21,344.75 points with a negative change of -21.63 and volume of 92,593,000 shares. High and Low were 21,486 and 21,302.93 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 15 were up, 15 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 149,572,970 shares. Total companies traded were 361 of which 180 were positive, 166 were negative and 15 were unchanged.

Power Generation and Distribution was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 42,248,700 shares. It was followed by Technology and Communication with a total traded volume of 31,726,000 shares.
