RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Monday at 21,506.01 points with a positive change of 127.56 and volume of 60,782,200 shares. High and Low were 21,536.26 and 21,378.45 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 18 were up, 11 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 96,654,960 shares. Total companies traded were 347 of which 167 were positive, 161 were negative and 19 were unchanged.

Technology and Communication was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 20,799,500 shares. It was followed by Power Generation and Distribution with a total traded volume of 8,630,700 shares.
