Balanced demand, supply cause small trading on grain market

Low business volume was witnessed on the wholesales grain and seed market on Wednesday due to balanced demand supply factor, dealers said. On the cereal side wheat old was quoted at Rs 2640-2645 and new type was at Rs 2655-2660. Gur low type lost Rs 100 at Rs 5400 and good type was unchanged at Rs 6200, other items stayed put in process of trading, they added.
On the rice sector Irri-6 Sindh low type drifted lower, shedding Rs 75 to Rs 3225 and best type fell by Rs 50 to Rs 3275, they said. On the seed side cottonseed oilcake with bag Sindh low type dropped by Rs 10 to Rs 1240, good quality, however, was up by Rs 5 to Rs 1285, other items were unmoved during the dull session, they said.
