Political Advisor to President, Senator Syed Faisal Raza Abadi said on Wednesday that 87 target killers have been detained in Karachi who were directly or indirectly involved in target killing incidents in the city. According to the investigation report on these killers, he said that no target killer has affiliation with any political party.
The target killers have contacts with drug mafia and also working for their interest, he told a private TV channel. Faisal Raza informed that MQM leader Raza Haider and journalist Wali Khan Babar's killers have been arrested. To a question, he appreciated the steps taken by Sindh Home Minister Zulfiqar Mirza in controlling Karachi situation. Only 30,000 police personnel are ensuring security in the city, he maintained. Advisor to President urged political parties to remove their differences and play their role in maintaining stable law and order situation in Karachi.
