Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Moscow in which many precious lives were lost and a large number of persons have been injured.
The Prime Minister in a message to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin conveyed the sentiments of the Government and people of Pakistan and said that the Government and people of Pakistan expressed their complete solidarity with the people and leadership of Russia.
"We strongly condemn this heinous act of terrorism against innocent persons, which further underscores the imperative need for the international community to unite strengths and efforts in combating terrorism," Gilani said. Pakistan, the PM said, itself, has been subjected to numerous terrorist attacks in which thousands of persons have been killed. "We understand and share the pain and sorrow of the Russian people. We offer our sincere sympathies and condolences to the Russian leadership and all those affected," he said.
