Punjab chief minister condoles death

Punjab Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif here on Sunday said that Mohtamim Jamia Ashrafia, Maulana Abdul Rehman Ashrafi was a religious scholar of highest calibre and his services in the field of religion and promotion of unity of Muslims would long be remembered.
While condoling death of the mohtamim with his brother Maulana Fazal Rahim on telephone, the chief minister said late Maulana Ashrafi's services for promotion of religious brotherhood in the country would always be remembered, Shahbaz added. He prayed for the departed soul and courage and equanimity for the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude.
