Check posts in Islamabad: IGP asked to beef up security

Inspector General Police Islamabad has been directed by Ministry of Interior to beef up security at all police check posts located in federal capital especially at main entry points. According to sources, IG Islamabad received complaints against deployment of only one policeman at a check post who has to check hundreds of vehicles.
The IG Islamabad directed the SSP Islamabad to visit the check posts and beefed up the security at all police check posts. SSP directed the SPs to increase security at check posts to immediate response in case of intelligence information regarding suspected terrorist in city.
