Disciplinary proceedings against judge dropped

Chief Justice Lahore High Court (LHC), Justice Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry here Monday dropped disciplinary proceedings against a first class civil judge and imposed minor penalties on two other judges. According to a notification issued by registrar LHC, the CJ dropped disciplinary proceedings with immediate effect against civil judge, Dunya Pur, Mujahid Abbas Suhail, now at Rahim yar Khan.
The CJ imposed minor penalty of 'censure' upon Abdul Jabbar, civil judge first class cum judicial magistrate/officer, special duty. The same penalty was imposed upon civil judge -cum-judicial magistrate Sargodha, Manzar Hayat, now posted at Sammundari.
