Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif will expectedly inaugurate the newly established Kh. Muhammad Safdar Medical College Sialkot in Sialkot on January 17 (today) during a special ceremony scheduled to be held at the surroundings of Govt. Allama Iqbal Memorial DHQ Hospital Sialkot here.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Central Leader and MNA Khawaja Muhammad Asif disclosed this while talking to the newsmen here on Sunday.
He termed it another gift for the people of Sialkot, saying that the dream of Sialkot people of having an international standard medical college has now become true, as the regular classes of this medical college will also start from January 17. The provincial government has changed the name of project of Sialkot Medical College and given it a new name as Kh. Muhammad Safdar Medical College Sialkot attributed to Sialkot based veteran politician Late Khawaja Muhammad Safdar (the father of PML-N Central Leader and MNA Khawaja Muhammad Asif).
