Flood-hit people: HHRD, WHO launch winter operation

Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD) in league with World Health Organisation (WHO) launched 'Winter Operation' aimed at helping the flood-stricken people to combat hardships of the harsh winter season.
This was stated by Fazal-ur-Rehman Country Director HHRD here on Saturday, adding that in the first phase edible items, health facilities and winter kits would be distributed among the flood-hit people of various areas of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa including Alai, Dasu and Kohistan, with the consultation of local administration. In the second phase the teams would be dispatched to Balochistan to provide the above-mentioned facilities to flood victims of Ziarat, Zhob and the adjacent areas.-PR
