ISLAMABAD: As Eid Milad-un-Nabi is approaching fast, Buildings and Mosques in Federal Capital and other parts of the country are being decorated with colorful lights, flags, buntings and banners to celebrate Eid Milad-un- Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him) with religious zeal and zest.

According to a report aired by a private news channel , Streets, marketplaces, buildings and Mosques all present a festive look across various cities including Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta and Islamabad.

Naat khawani and processions are being planned by various social and religious organizations to express devotion and pay homage to the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him) on His birth anniversary.

Banners and billboards containing information about different naat competitions are being displayed at different entrance points of streets and main roads across the twin cities.

Newspapers have also started publishing special supplements, while television channels and radio stations have started special programmes since sighting of Rabi-UL-Awwal crescent to highlight different aspects of the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).

Meanwhile, vendors have established a number of stalls at every nook and corner of the cities, offering banners, badges, stickers and flags inscribed with slogans paying respect and reverence to the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).

A vendor Javed Hanif said that passion among the people, especially youth, is increasing as the festival approaching fast. Crowd of buyers at stalls is larger as compare to previous year, he added.
