3 of a family killed in road accident

CHICHAWATNI: Three members of a family were killed while one received injuries in a road accident on GT Road near Shalimar Chowk on Sunday.

According to police, one Tasawwar Hussain, his son Muntazir Hussain and seven years old daughter Tasha were going to Multan on a motorbike from Chak 44-12-L. When they reached near Shalimar Chowk, they were hit by a truck.

As a reslut, all three died on-the-spot, while a passerby cyslist, Muhammad Ashraf, was injured. He was shifted to Nishter Hospital Multan.

Police took the truck into custody and started investigation.
