US MIDDAY: coffee rises

May arabicas on ICE rose 2.8 cents or 1.2 percent to $2.3890 per lb early on Wednesday, below their 13-1/2 year peak of $2.4350, touched on December 22. ICE May cocoa traded $37 or 1.3 percent higher at $2,994 a tonne at 1309 GMT. ICE raw sugar futures were little changed, below December's 30-year peaks, as the market focused on how much of the sweetener number 2 producer India could export in 2010/11, with concerns over likely limited flows underpinning prices.
ICE March raw sugar futures were flat at 32.75 cents a lb at 1302 GMT.
