Allama Iqbal International Airport and Motorway have been closed owing to thick fog on Wednesday. The Motorway stretch from Thokar Niaz Baig to Sheikhupura has been shut down due to dense fog, causing massive trouble to commuters, private news channel reported.
Inspector General of Motorway said travellers are advised to take alternative paths, attributing the decision to poor visibility that shrank to 15 meters in some places. Motorway officials directed passengers to travel in the event of an emergency with fog lights on.
