Altaf's telephonic contact with Sheikh Rashid, Pervez Elahi

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Chief Altaf Hussain had telephonic contacts with Awami Muslim League (AML) Chief, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed and leader of Pakistan Muslim League, Quaid-e-Azam, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi. The MQM Chief took both the leaders into confidence on decision of his party about sitting on Treasury Benches in the National Assembly, said a statement issued here on Saturday.
Altaf Hussain said though the MQM-associated Parliamen-tarians will sit on the Treasury Benches, however, they will continue to raise voice against decisions conflicting with the interests of the people. The MQM Chief also discussed the political situation of the country with Sheikh Rashid and Chaudhry Pervez Elahi.
