EU Representative condoles death

Catherine Asthon, European Union (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Vice President of the Commission on Friday strongly condemned the assassination of the Governor of Punjab Salman Taseer. The spokesperson of Asthon issued the statement saying that Catherine Asthon strongly condemned the brutal murder of Salman Taseer and expressed her condolences to the family and the people of Pakistan.
Asthon urged the authorities to bring the perpetrators of this crime rapidly to justice.
