LCCI hails decision

The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry has appreciated the federal government for withdrawing increase in the prices of petroleum products and termed it a bold step in the larger interests of the masses. The LCCI President Shahzad Ali Malik in a statement on Friday said that the withdrawal in prices of petroleum products would not only give some relief to the inflation-hit masses but it would also benefit almost all sectors of the economy.
Industry and the agriculture both would be the beneficiary of this marvellous decision, as the increase had caused considerable jump in transportation costs of industrial products and same was the case with Agriculture sector that is heavily dependent on diesel.
