CDGK to compile complete directory of its assets

The City District Government Karachi (CDGK) has decided to compile complete directory of its assets, while procurement and purchasing matters would be done only by Stores and Procurement Department in future. Officials in CDGK told Business Recorder that DCO Karachi, Mohammad Hussain Syed has directed Finance & Planning (F&P) Department to compile a comprehensive directory of all the assets of city government.
While all the details of city government's land, amenity plots and other assets should be uploaded on the city government's website for public, he added. He said DCO Karachi had also directed that from now onward no other department would purchase stationary and other required items except Stores and Procurement Department. The Stores and Procurement Department would make all such purchases in future and provide required stationary and other items to departments on their demand and Finance Department would not make any payment to other departments for purchasing, he added.
