Chief Justice Lahore High Court Justice Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry has said that providing justice to the masses has become a difficult job for the judges in present circumstances when telling lies is spreading like a cancer in our society. Addressing the newly appointed judicial officers, he said despite these challenges judges are doing their best to decide cases on merit without any fear and favour.
He said that people have pinned high hopes on the judiciary and judicial officers should come up to their expectations. He stressed upon the judges to observe court timings and work till late night and should study cases at home as well, which would help the judges in dispensing quick justice. Justice Chaudhry Iftikhar Hussian and Justice Sh Azmat Saeed, former Justice Khalil-ur-Rehman Khan, former Justice Tanvir Ahmad Khan and Justice Nasira Iqbal also attended the function.
