Bullish trend was again witnessed on the wholesale grain and seed markets on Tuesday in process of modest trading, dealers said. On the grams side bajra low type gained Rs 20 to Rs 2525 and good type was higher by Rs 200 to Rs 3100, other items did not show any change amid subdued business, they said.
On the seed side cottonseeds oilcake with bag inferior type rose slightly by Rs 5 to Rs 1280 while the good type picked up Rs 20 to Rs 1320. Rapeseeds cakes low quality was up by Rs 15 to Rs 940 and best type rose by 20 to Rs 950. Rapeseeds Nawabshah was quoted at Rs 2400, rapeseed Mirpurlane gained Rs 50 to Rs 2350-2375. Castorseed Lasbela, however, was down by Rs 100 to Rs 2200-2400, other items retained at the weekend levels, they said. Rates on the rice and cereals, stayed put during the session, they said.
