CSB considers promotions to BPS-21

The Central Selection Board, which met here on Friday, considered the promotion of BPS-19 and BPS-20 officers to the next grade. Chairman CSB, Justice Rana Bhagwandas, who is also Chairman of Federal Public Service Commission, presided over the meeting.
The meeting was attended by the members of CSB who include Secretary Establishment, IGPs, Chief Secretaries and other officers of Grade 22. Promotion of officers belonging to police and information groups were discussed and a list of the candidates, who succeeded in getting promotion, would be finalised on Saturday (today). Although it is mandatory for CSB to meet twice in a year, the meeting on Friday held after a long period of time.
