Denmark ambassador meets Karachi mayor

KARACHI: The Ambassador of Denmark in Pakistan, Rolf M. Hay Pereira Holmboe, called on Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar in his office on Thursday.

The Ambassador along with Honorary Consul General of Denmark Zaid Bashir, Commercial Advisor Aslam Pervez and Coordinator Saleem Anwer met the mayor.

Waseem welcomed the delegation and informed them about development activities in the city.  He said Karachi holds unique importance in this region and the city is being developed on gradual basis.

The Ambassador appreciated the efforts of municipal authorities in Karachi to provide better civic facilities to citizens and expressed hope that such efforts would prove productive in the days to come.
