World's largest single train urea plant begins production

The world's largest single train urea plant, set by Engro Corporation at Dehrki, has started production on Wednesday. According to an information sent to Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE), Engro Corporation informed that after successful commissioning, trial production has started early Wednesday morning at the new urea fertiliser plant namely Engro Fertilisers Limited.
The Engro Fertilisers Limited is 100 percent subsidiary of Engro Corporation Limited. The newly set up plant is capable of producing 1.3 million tons of urea per annum and is the largest single train urea plant in the world, using sophisticated modern technology and consequently is feed stock efficient.
