ISE index gains 5.25 points

Equities moved both ways at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where investors adopted a cautious approach under the lead of hot favourite amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 5.25 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 2,980.36 to 2,985.61 points. The overall turnover amounted to 190,505 shares as compared to previous volume of 192,900 shares.
Total 151 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (109) closed in positive territory, 42 closed in negative territory, whereas zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The turnover of Lotte Pakistan PTA was 88,000 shares. The volume of National Bank of Pakistan was 26,300 shares. The turnover of Fauji Fertiliser Bin Qasim was 21,000 shares.
