Trading under pressure due to strong supply on grain market

Trading activity was under pressure due to strong supply position on the wholesale grain and seed market on Thursday, dealers said. On the cereal side makai after maintaining a firm trend, tended higher, low type gained Rs 25 to Rs 2550 and best type was up by Rs 67 to Rs 2575 in process of trading, they said.
Wheat old Burdan (with bag) was registered at Rs 2650 and new type quoted at Rs 2665. Gur low type was down by Rs 100 Rs 6700. Other items were unmoved in process of trading, they said. On the seed side cottonseeds oilcake with bag low quality was lower by Rs 20 to Rs 1230 while the good type did not show any change at Rs 1260, they said.
