Rangers on Wednesday claimed to have arrested three persons, who were accused in Shershah scrap market incident, which left 14 people killed. The Pakistan Rangers, after lapsing over 60 days, have claimed to arrest three persons who were among those 17 persons booked for this incident.
According to the Ranger spokesman, the raid was conducted on a tip-off, which revealed that the accused involved in Shershah incident, were seen in Lyari area 'Singho Lane.' Reacting on the said information, the Rangers have conducted raid and arrested three persons and recovered illegal weapons from their possession.
He declined to have support of Sindh Police in this raid, saying that the local police were not involved in this raid. The arrested persons, who were identified as Shafi Magsi, Pervaiz and Nawab Ali, had been booked in FIR along with 14 other persons.
