Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Pir Aftab Hussain Shah Jilani chaired the first meeting in the Ministry here on Tuesday. He was briefed about the working of the Ministry by Irfan Nadeem Secretary for Science and Technology. The Secretary gave a detailed presentation about all the departments and organisations working under the Ministry.
The functioning of these departments and their contribution in the national development were thoroughly discussed. The Secretary shared the future vision with the minister and also upcoming major events/activities, in which Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST) is to participate.
The minister took keen interest in the working of the Ministry and its allied departments. During the presentation, he enquired about different issues of the Ministry that were explained by the secretary. The meeting was attended by the officers and heads of wings of the Ministry of Science and Technology.-PR
