ISE index surges by 6.82 points

Equities moved both ways at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where investors adopted a cautious approach under the lead of hot favourite amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 06.82 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 2,965.95 to 2,972.77 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 254,775 shares as compared to previous volume of 395,116 shares. Total 164 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (106) closed in positive territory, 58 closed in negative territory, whereas (01) company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The turnover of Lotte Pakistan PTA was 102,100 shares. The volume of National Bank of Pakistan was 40,300 shares. The turnover of Bank al Falah Ltd was 29,000 shares.
