CM condemns Karachi University gate blast

KARACHI: Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has strongly condemned the bomb blast occurred Saturday morning outside the Karachi University Gate No.2 and termed it a cowardly act on the part of the anti stat elements who wanted to create scare among the peaceful citizens of the metropolis.

According to an official statement the CM called immediate report from the Inspector General of Police Sindh about the incident and expressed sympathies with those who were injured in the incident.

He directed the law enforcing agencies to enhance their vigil and guard against recurrence of such terrorist activities. The CM also directed treatment of the injured.
