HYDERABAD: A blast in the gas cylinder of a van on National Highway killed seven passengers including four children and two women and injured 17 other passengers.
The cylinder exploded near village Anwar Shah as the van was heading towards Hyderabad from Shahdadpur area of Sanghar district.
The injured were shifted to hospitals in Hala and Matiari. The blast caused a traffic jam on the highway.
Edhi Foundation's Mairaj Khan told APP that their ambulances are facing difficulty in reaching the spot of the blast due to traffic congestion on National Highway.
The police are trying to identify the deceased.
