I was deeply hurt when a genuine goal, scored against Germany by Lampard in Bloemfontein, was disallowed by the moronic referee that devastated the English team, resulting in their defeat. This must have anguished football fans across the world (from Tokyo to Toronto), including David Cameron.
I am also dismayed by an article of Baroness Sayeeda Warsi in an English daily in which she advocated faith, religion, justice and humanism without recognising the injustice at home. The Chairperson of Conservative Party must be aware that the newly appointed qualified and registered medical doctors are employed full time in government-run hospitals in the UK without pay or succour. This is worse than the illegal practice of bonded labour in rural Pakistan where the cruel lords at least provide the captives with food and shelter. My appeal to Baroness, therefore, is to follow the example of former Labour Lord Mayor (Armstrong) of London and look to the injustices at home before going global with her gospel.
