LAHORE: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani said on Sunday that his government would use parliament to develop uniform policies on all national issues by taking all stakeholders on board.
In his interaction with the media at the State Guest House on Sunday afternoon, the prime minister pointed out that parliament was the best forum to formulate national policies through debate and discussion.
In this regard, he mentioned that outstanding issues like relations with the US, NATO, ISAF, Kashmir, India, nuclear programme, have direct bearing on the sovereignty and security of the country, would be debated in parliament to evolve national consensus.
"We will formulate policies reflecting the aspirations of the people," the prime minister remarked.
