RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Wednesday at 21,858.01 points with a negative change of -255.54 and volume of 76,833,800 shares. High and Low were 22,171.92 and 21,785.83 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 7 were up, 20 were down and 3 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 129,563,190 shares. Total companies traded were 367 of which 127 were positive, 223 were negative and 17 were unchanged.

Power Generation and Distribution was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 14,120,700 shares. It was followed by Technology and Communication with a total traded volume of 13,232,000 shares.
