KARACHI: Gold jumped by Rs 1,028 to close at Rs 49,542 per 10 grams in the local market Thursday, as its international price also moved up to $ 1,750 an ounce, market sources said.
According to Karachi Saraf Association official, tola (11.664 grams) price also increased by Rs 1,100 to close at Rs 57,800.
Silver closed up at Rs 917.14 per 10 grams.
