LAHORE: An eleven-member Chinese high level diplomats delegation which called on Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Khosa on Thursday offered condolence for martyred soldiers and condemned the Nato led aggression at Pak check-post.
Led by Executive Deputy Secretary of CPC Committee of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ma Keqing, the delegation also exchanged views on various matters of mutual interest with Governor Punjab.
Executive Deputy Secretary of CPC Committee of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ms Ma Keqing said that disputes should be solved with respect while respecting integrity and sovereignty of Pakistan.
Speaking on the occasion Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Khosa said that all weather Pakistan relations with China are higher than Himalayas and deeper than oceans.
He said that China always helped Pakistan in tough times adding,"Our party founder Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto inculcated and strengthened good relations with China".
"We are looking forward to open more trade avenues with China", he said. In this regard he said energy sector needs further cooperation to meet the growing needs. The governor expressed the need to promote people to people interaction at all levels to further strengthen our relations.
"We have introduced Chinese language as subject in our educational institutions so that our people may feel closer to each other". Latif Khosa said Pakistan wants peaceful solution of Afghan war, adding,"We want peace in Afghanistan without compromising on our own sovereignty".
The governor said that Pakistan wants China's support not only in war against terrorism but also in the solution of Kashmir issue.
As responsible nuclear state Pakistan believes in peaceful negotiations to solve all the conflicts.
