Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) NWFP chapter has started registration of victims of bomb blasts and other terrorist acts under the emergency relief package with a view to providing financial assistance to the affected families.
Talking to APP here on Wednesday, Director General, BISP, NWFP, Dr Ikram Ghani said that the lists of the affected people have been obtained from the concerned DCOs, police officials and Home Department so as to determine the strength of the affectees and chalk out the programme accordingly.
However, he added that due to lack of full details of some of the victims, communication problems were being faced in some areas. DG BISP has requested the blasts/terror victims to contact Programme Divisional Director so as to ensure their registration.
