RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Monday at 22,949.89 points with a positive change of 2.45 and volume of 60,101,400 shares. High and Low were 23,020.10 and 22,757.42 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 10 were up, 19 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 113,787,110 shares. Total companies traded were 367 of which 138 were positive, 213 were negative and 16 were unchanged.

Engineering was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 17,315,500 shares. It was followed by Technology and Communication with a total traded volume of 16,618,500 shares.
