obamaWASHINGTON: President Barack Obama said the United States stood ready to help Europe solve its fiscal problems on Monday, following a summit with EU leaders dominated by the eurozone crisis.

"The United States stands ready to do our part to help them resolve this issue," Obama said after hosting EU representatives at the White House.
