KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Tuesday at 25,294.34 points with a positive change of 634.79 and volume of 175,980,900 shares. High and Low were 25,311.32 and 24,658.94 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 26 were up, 4 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 256,143,020 shares. Total companies traded were 393 of which 274 were positive, 104 were negative and 15 were unchanged.

Engineering was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 39,705,800 shares. It was followed by Textile Composite with a total traded volume of 29,621,940 shares.
