Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Amanullah Khan Jadoon has said that the government would provide Sui gas facility in every nook and corner of the country by the end of this year. He said this while performing the ground breaking ceremony of sui gas supply facility to Mast Mehra village here Saturday.
The project will be completed with a cost of 150 million rupees. The minister said that the government had extended sui gas facility to a record number of towns and villages in the remote and far-flung areas of the country in order to uplift their living standard. He said that an amount of Rs 520 billion has been allocated for the completion of socio-economic development projects for the people during the current fiscal year.
Ammanullah said completion of these projects would bring revolutionary change in the lifestyle of the people at a fast pace. He said the SSGC and SNGPL had also been providing two lac new gas connections annually which is unprecedented in the history of the country.
He called upon the people to forge unity in their ranks and supplement government efforts for the speedy completion of the socio-economic projects. The minister also announced gas supply facility to the adjoining areas of Mast Mehra village.
PML leader in NWFP Assembly Mushtaq A. Ghani, Al-Haj Qalandar Khan Lodhi, PMA, Tehsil Nazim Abbottabad Saidfullah Khan Jadoon and Nazmin of the area addressed the public meeting and highlighted the socio-economic development projects being completed by the federal government and district administration.
