Mixed trend was observed on Friday at the Islamabad Stock Exchange where bulls and bears had a close fight under the lead of trend-setters amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index showed a decrease of 1.97 points as the index moved from 2,717.97 to 2,716.00 points.
The overall turnover stood at 4,964,100 shares as compared to previous volume of 3,567,000 shares. Total 141 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (64) closed in negative territory, 76 landed in plus column, whereas one company remained pegged to its previous levels.
The volume of Bank of Punjab was 534,700 shares. The turnover of Lucky Cement was 273,700 shares as compared to previous volume of 336,600 shares. The volume of Fauji Cement was 226,500 shares.
