Sindh Employees' Social Security Institutions (SESSI) has presented Rs 1.262 billion budget for the next fiscal year, showing a surplus of Rs 179.722 million.
According to statistics, during 2007-08, the institution anticipated a total income of Rs 1.262 billion on the heads of social security contribution: Rs 1.155 billion; profit on investment: Rs 0.99 billion; and any other income estimated at Rs 7.9 million.
Total expenditure for the next financial year has been estimated at Rs 1.082 billion. The detail of expenditure under main sub-head of accounts is as follows:
Medical care: Rs 772.9 million; cash benefits: Rs 40.135 million; administrative expenditure: Rs 224.716 million; development expenditure: Rs 24.5 million; unforeseen expenditure: Rs 15 million; and loans and advances: rupees five million.-PR
