The Northern Areas Chief Secretary Major Qamar-uz-Zaman (Retd) has approved establishment of an Inter-College at Darel valley during his visit to that area.
Addressing the people who gathered to extend an unprecedented warm well come to the chief secretary he said that government is making all-out efforts to provide all civic amenities to the residents of remote and far-flung areas to bring them at par with other developed parts of the country.
Chief Secretary said that the government was committed to developing these parts with an accelerated pace so that the living standard of the residents could be improved. He told the audience that government would ensure better educational facilities so that people could benefit from them and get themselves educated.
The local population thanked the federal government in particular and NAs administrations in general for approval of a number of projects that are aimed at bringing socio-economic uplift in the area.
